Victor Max Vellon A local artist with awesome takes on classic gaming tracks. To think that I now know this artist IRL is insane. He's got a great EP here and I can't wait to hear the debut album in the future. I also hosted a listening party for this through VGHC Radio.

My favorite track was originally "Super Metroid", but I fell in love with "Alien's Lair" after he was nice enough to let me make a personal gameplay video of it using the song as the background track. Favorite track: Alien's Lair (Contra).

This project started out as a way for my brain to get acquainted with a new digital audio workstation (Renoise) but then, little by little, it also became a way for me to pay tribute to some old school video game songs I grew up with and loved as a kid. I picked some of my favorite songs, took some liberties with them and created this EP. I hope it's as fun to listen to as it was to make.
